Directory of Retired Members’ Groups

The RUN Committee are compiling information on Retired Unionists Network and the various retired unionists groups throughout the country that can be listed in the ACTU Directory.

In the meantime, we have collected the following list. We welcome any additions, addendum or corrections that can be made to this list.

Australian Capital Territory

Vintage Reds of the Canberra Region meets on the third Tuesday of every month, except January, at 11.00am until 1.00pm at the Dickson Tradies’ Club, 2 Badham St, Dickson. Contact Garrett Purtill 0407 254 994.

New South Wales

Sydney Retired Unionists Group (RUG) meets at 11.00am until 1.00pm on the first Monday of every month at the NSW AEU Offices, 23-33 Mary Street, Surry Hills. Contact Janine Kitson.

Central Coast Activists meet on the first Wednesday of every month (except Dec and Jan) at 11.30am until 1.00pm at the Ourimbah Lisarow RSL Club, 20 Pacific Hwy, Ourimbah. Contact Allen Slater 0491 708 906.

NSW PSA Retired Members Associates meets at 10.30am on the 4^th Tuesday bi-monthly, at PSA House, 160 Clarence Street, Sydney.

Queensland

Vintage Reds Queensland meets at 10.00am on the first Thursday of every month at Queensland Council of Unions, 16 Peel Street, South Brisbane. Contact John McCollow 0431 941 541. 

South Australia

Retired Unionists of South Australia (RUSA) meets at 1.00pm until 3.00pm, on the second Tuesday of every month, at UnionsSA Office, 170 Greenhill Road, Parkside.

Tasmania

Hobart Retired Unionists meets at 11am, every third Thursday of the month, at Unions Tasmania, 212 Liverpool St, Hobart.

Victoria

VTHC Retired Unionists’ Group meets quarterly at VTHC, 54 Victoria Street, Carlton. Contact John Speight 0425 753 754 [email protected].
