Yesterday, Australia voted.

And today, Australia has woken up to a new Federal Government.

Last night’s election outcome is a win for workers across the country. But it’s not the end of our campaigning efforts. It’s a new beginning.

Under the Labor Government, led by Prime Minster Anthony Albanese, workers will have a government that will take real action on wages, job security, cost of living and respect at work.

There is no better way to channel your power than through the union movement as a member

Union members have stood up for each other for more than a century. And we’ll be doing the same for generations to come.

The Australian union movement has always treated workers as people first, not commodities to be bought and sold.

That’s why union members stand together for better workplace conditions and protecting workers’ rights. Always.

We take action to win big, permanent and important changes that benefit everyone – like universal superannuation, Jobkeeper, Medicare, penalty rates, annual leave, parental leave and sick leave, and even the weekend.

Today, the Australian union movement is made up of almost two million workers who prove that change is much more than an idea. It’s an action we take every day.

Be part of the next chapter of the biggest grassroots movement in Australia.

Join your union today.
