Union collective power

The union movement is made up of almost two million workers coming together to get things done.

That means the wages and conditions that workers deserve and support for, and solidarity with, one another.

Together, we drive the change that we want to see.

Union members earn more

Union members earn $250 more per week than non-members!

Data from the ABS shows that being a union member leads to higher pay, no matter your age or type of employment.

Union membership perks

There are so many reasons why joining your union is the best decision of your working life.

There are even perks to your union membership, like Member Benefits!

PLUS, union membership fees are tax deductible.

Making workplace change for all, into the future

One voice echoes, many voices resonate: being part of your union gives you collective bargaining power.

That means negotiating better pay, terms, conditions and protections for workers.

But we don’t just look out for ourselves, we building fairer and safer workplaces for the next generation.

The first place to turn, the last people to give up

Sometimes you just need a second opinion.

Whether you have tough questions or you’re ready to take action, your union is the first source of info about your work rights.

All members get access to advice and legal representation if things go wrong.

Know your rights, we’ll stand up for them together

Union members have won so many of the work rights we take for granted today.

In recent years, we’ve won new new rights that make it easier to get pay rises, increase job security and keep us safer at work.

Make the most of them by being a union member.
