Support Public Services

ps_email_header.jpg

Our public services have helped make Australia a great place to live. But the Liberals are undermining them. Send a message to them to protect our public services.

Every day, every Australian relies on public services to sustain our standard of living: from safeguarding our health to forecasting the weather, developing our science or supporting our troops.

But the Liberals have closed offices and services, axed more than 17 000 jobs, and started planning to privatise key services like Medicare payments and to send good jobs offshore.

And now they are attacking the workplace rights, conditions and take home pay of the people who work for public services.

Our public services: owned by everyone for the benefit of everyone. Help us keep it that way.

I’m on the DSP and prefer to speak to a real person about any problems with government services, not a machine.

The public service don’t cut corners trying to increase profit margins. They just get on with it to a tight budget.

When will the ‘Government’ stop making workers unemployed? Why don’t they find some of their own perks to get rid of instead of the jobs of servants of the public? We need them more than we need all the old members of parliament who sit there for years doing nothing. MORE PUBLIC SERVANTS LESS POLITICIANS.
