Tony Abbott and his mates have obtained lump sum payments before the elections from banned companies in many ways. Therefore he is doing justice to them by ditching all Australian by quickly changing the laws, are in the best interest of the lobby groups. Tony abbott is serving the employers as he will have to look for himself a job after his term.

    NO to work choices.
How about Tony Abbott and all other politicians reduce their wages by minimum of half and see how they cope. Also how about No politicians are allowed pensions including previous priministers.

You’ve got more hide than a pack of elephants. Seriously, each and every Minister should be ashamed to call themselves a Minister let alone a human. Chris Pyne, Minister for Education? Scott Morrison, Minister for Immigration and well..Border Protection or head of the ’let’s fear alien invasion’ group. Hockey, well he is just a joke! Has no clue about the common Australian. Let’s continue, Mathias Cormann for Finance? Well he doesn’t even understand facts, plain facts. We aren’t in a budget crisis! Tell that to the rest of them. Then of course you have Tony who was at one stage a Minister for Womens affairs and Indigenous Affairs maybe acting at the time, but god what disrespect. They really haven’t thought things through that well…Bronwyn Bishop…speaker of the House? Now now now Question time is so frustrating with her in the chair. Pull your head in guys. And to the Cross-benchers for the good of Australia, in the genuine interest of ALL Australians, please vote again this attack on Workers rights!!!

People deserve to be paid fairly for working anti-social hours. Working in retail means we never see my best friend on weekends, it’s really hard for her to stay connected with people. Working late every Friday night means my niece can afford to stay at uni but it also means she has to catch a nightbus home alone surrounded by groups of drunk people, she knows what she has to do to protect herself but she should be paid fairly.

Australian workers’ rights are being eroded, sending employment conditions back to the dark ages while politicians’ benefits are on the increase. Abbott is alienating the workers while the fat cats are getting fatter. I’m appealing to the cross-bench senators to vote against the bill – or face the consequences from the Australian workforce!

I wonder how families manage to survive on the rates of pay for the lower income workers. I would like to challenge Mr Abbott & his cronies to give it a go for a few weeks to see how they would cope on a meagre income. Whats happening to Australia are we becoming a third world country? People fought for the rights we have stop this government from taking them away from us.

I am an Australian citizen, all working life on ships, what do you want to do Mr Abbott please remember that you are also an Australian? Do you want to make this country into a sweat shop? yes we are in Asia but we are different , we hold many things close to our hearts, like honesty, trust, and fairness ,why do you want to take these key elements away? why do you think people are prepared to die trying to come here? PLEASE FOCUS ON YOUR OWN PEOPLE NOT THE BANK ACCOUNTS OF YOUR MATES!!!!!!!

WELL, It is true We ( not me, I hasten to add ) voted for these Turkeys, so even though we knew the mad monk lies all the time, cos HE told us he did, we still voted for him. Now we will reap what we have sewed, good luck to us even though we don’t deserve it. Do we really believe this country was in such a mess or was it just that the other mob ( now the Government ) wanted us to believe it, so they could get in & do what they wanted – Make more money for themselves & their mates & screw the workers & their families.
Now before all the blue bloods start barking, I’m not saying the other mob were blameless, but at least they didn’t always put themsleves first. Australia is not in such a bad position when you look at what’s happening on other places, it’s just that we need to ensure that Education ( & no not just conventional education ) of our young people is the top priority so that we can indeed become the Smartest Country on earth.
Let’s do it, but we can’t in the meantime just let this current Government take all our Fathers & Mothers hard fought for woarker rights away from us.
The option to work in work places that are 24/7 or at least not just 40 hour 5 day a week operations, has to have some remuneration for such sacrifice for the person’s family.
Please think about this, before just rubber stamping all over Abbott’s proposed changes to worker’s rights.

Australian’s stand up and fight, this is our right. People before us fought hard for us to have the workforce rights we have today. A coffee break, overtime, fair days pay, minimum standards, all these were fought for not given. As an idividual how would you negotiate your next contract? As an individual I have no power over the oganisation who employes me. Back off Abbott!

Stop robbing the poor to support the rich, Politicans should have a pay cut, not low income earners. Abbott and Hockey are out of touch with the real world and are sending us backward not forward. They up our taxes, put fuel prices up, expect co payments to the doctor and then cut our pay rights. They have issues with low income earners and the elderly, but make sure they live a high life.

At what point to we are hard working citizens stand up and say enough. Polititians could do with a pay cut, self fund their superannuation and have to live on the standard australian pention when then retire from politics, not continue to get fat cat hand outs from our hard earned money. Australian workers are being slammed from all sides. An unfair budget, and now unfair worker laws. Enough already. Vote against unfair anti-worker laws

It’s already hard for the average earner with rising cost and low wages…….
It’s easy for people on higher wages but no one cares about the low income earners.
