The Abbott Government’s Productivity Commission into workplace relations has called for cuts to penalty rates and a freeze in the minimum wage.
This is a pay cut for thousands of Australians who work in restaurants, cafes and shops around the country.
Australia’s workplace system is based on fairness, equality, protection of the vulnerable and rewards for hard work. The system works and Australians have demonstrated they want and support it.
The Commission is holding public hearings in September 2015. Demonstrate your support for penalty rates, the minimum wage and all of our rights at work by attending an action to coincide with these hearings.
