Unions salute magnificent work of those behind groundswell of change
The election result is a huge win for the groundswell of ordinary people who want a fair go for all, an equal tax system and decent jobs, education and health care, say unions. The result symbolises a major repudiation of the government’s destructive policies over the past three years, says ACTU President, Ged Kearney. “While the final outcome of the election has not yet been decided, it is clear that Australians have firmly rejected Malcolm Turnbull and the Liberal’s big business first approach to government.” Ms Kearney praised the “secret army” of hard-working union members who worked so hard throughout the campaign: “You have been magnificent — I salute you,” she says. |
Achieving loan-life balanceIf you’re buying your first home or upgrading your existing one, it pays to choose the right loan – one with the flexibility to achieve long-term goals while allowing you to live your life. Payments that fit your life Don’t be restricted to one-size-fits all repayment options when you can choose a flexible home loan. Match your loan repayment dates with pay days. Freedom to pay extra Paying off a bit extra each month can deliver substantial savings on loan interest, but look for a loan that allows fee-free extra repayments. |
